Folmer, A. P. - Barnabys First Christmas (Hardback)

Experience the sights, sounds, and wonderful scents of Christmas with Barnaby's First Christmas: A Scratch-and-Sniff Storybook by A. P. Folmer. Barnaby, the youngest mouse in the Deermouse family, sets out with his family to find the perfect Christmas tree. But after stopping for a snack and falling asleep, he awakens to discover that he's lost in the snowy woods. Following the comforting smell of smoke from a nearby chimney, Barnaby finds a family preparing for Christmas and joins in the holiday fun, from baking cookies to decorating the tree. When Santa Claus arrives, he may be just the one to help Barnaby find his way home. Originally published in 1989, this nostalgic Christmas storybook features scratch-and-sniff elements celebrating familiar holiday aromas, including pine, gingerbread, and peppermint. A delightful choice for Christmas storytime, holiday traditions, and collectors of vintage children's books.
