Local Author Consignment Program

We love supporting local authors and are happy to consider books by writers from our community.

At this time, we offer local author books on a consignment basis. This means we do not purchase books upfront. Instead, accepted books are placed in the store, and payment is made after copies sell.

Consignment Terms

Books are accepted on a 60/40 consignment split. The author receives 60% of the sale price, and the bookstore keeps 40%.

Authors are paid only when their books sell. We do not pay for books in advance.

Because our space is limited, submitting a book does not guarantee acceptance. We review each title to make sure it is a good fit for our customers, available shelf space, and current inventory.

Books must be clean, professionally presented, and ready for retail sale.

Authors are responsible for supplying copies of their books and restocking if needed.

The bookstore is not responsible for damage, theft, loss, or normal shelf wear while books are in the store.

We reserve the right to return unsold books to the author or remove books from the sales floor at our discretion.
