Vendor Shelf Rental – Display & Sell Your Products in Our Bookstore

Showcase your products in our welcoming independent bookstore and connect with customers who love supporting local makers, artists, authors, and small businesses. Rent your own display shelf and keep 100% of your profits—we never take a commission on your sales.

Each rental includes one designated shelf in our vendor display. You are responsible for stocking, maintaining, and designing your own display to best showcase your products. We encourage vendors to refresh their displays regularly to keep them looking their best.

Before You Purchase

Please email us before purchasing your shelf with your website (if you have one) and/or a description of the products you would like to sell.

All vendors and merchandise must be approved before a shelf rental can begin. We carefully curate our vendor selection to create a shopping experience that aligns with our store's vision.

If you purchase a shelf before receiving approval and your products are not approved, your payment will be refunded minus a 10% restocking fee to help offset the non-refundable payment processing fees we incur.

Approval is granted solely at our discretion.

We do not accept, including but not limited to:

• Weapons or weapon-related products
• Adult content that we determine is inappropriate for our store
• Products that directly compete with merchandise we already carry
• Illegal or counterfeit items
• Anything we believe is not a good fit for our customers or our store

Monthly Rental Rates

• Shelf 1 - 23" wide, 9.5" deep — $15/month
• Shelf 2 - 23" wide, 9.5" deep, 12.5" tall with fronter at 10"— $15/month
• Shelf 3 - 23" wide, 9.5" deep, 14.5" tall — $20/month
• Shelf 4 - 23" wide, 9.5" deep, 14" tall — $20/month
• Shelf 5 - 23" wide, 9.5" deep, 12.5" tall — $10/month

Availability is first come, first served.

Managing Your Sales

You keep 100% of every sale.

Vendors are responsible for processing all customer payments. We recommend displaying a printed Venmo QR code on your shelf, although any electronic payment method is acceptable.

You are also welcome to display your website, social media handles, business cards, or other contact information on your shelf so customers can connect with you beyond their visit to the store.

Because all payments are processed directly by you, your earnings are never handled by us.

Vendor Responsibilities

As a vendor, you agree to:

• Design and decorate your own shelf display.
• Keep your shelf neat, organized, clean, and well stocked.
• Clearly label and price your merchandise.
• Provide your own electronic payment method.
• Keep your contact information current.
• Remove your merchandise promptly when your rental ends.

Payment Schedule

Your rental begins on the day your shelf is reserved.

For example, if your rental starts on the 12th of the month, future payments will be due on the 12th of each month.

Monthly rent must be paid by the due date to maintain your space.

Late Payment Policy

If rent is:

• 3 days late without prior communication, your payment information (including QR codes) may be removed or covered until your account is brought current.
• 7 days late without prior communication, your merchandise may be removed from the sales floor.

Merchandise removed due to non-payment must be picked up within 7 business days. Items not retrieved within that time may be discarded or otherwise disposed of at the store's discretion.

Cancellation Policy

You may end your rental at any time before your next billing date. Monthly rental fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

Liability

While we will treat every display with care, vendors acknowledge that merchandise is displayed at their own risk.

The bookstore is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, or for damage resulting from customer handling.
